Quiz files tab delimited

The most common way to use the external data in excel is importing from a text file. A text file is the file which contains the unformatted data generally used by the windows. It contains only the text and numbers without formulas, pictures and different format for different text. As formatting cannot be applied to the text files so to understand the data there are two types of text files which can be imported in excel: Delimiters text file and fixed width text file.

Delimiters text file is the text file with special delimiters between each column of the data. It is not necessary that the data is always aligned in the column form but there would not be any problem to import a file having delimiters. There are three types of delimiters used in the file to separate the data: Space-delimited text, Comma-delimited text and Tab-delimited text.
